In can be a busy and stressful world we live in, it is so important to take some time out to slow down and enjoy some quiet time for ourselves, looking after our body and our mind. 

Restorative Yoga is gentle, accessible for everyone and a profound practice that aims to help you feel more centred in yourself and in your body; aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time.

 

Our Mini Retreats are held monthly.

 

Our focus on these events is slow, still and gentle. Our goal is to let go of effort and find ease and release, giving time to deepen into self-inquiry. We give time to re accustom our systems to a slower pace and in replace our system re sets and rejuvenates. On a Mini Retreat you will  be introduced to a variety of Restorative Yoga postures. Time will be spent to establish poses, utilising yoga props to ensure effective positioning, support and comfort. You will then spend some time in each pose to experience the therapeutic effects, before coming into breathing practices that help strengthen your vital energy.  The evening finishes with a guided relaxation, called Yoga Nidra .  Yoga Nidra is a wonderful practice, when practiced over time induces a complete state of physical, mental and emotional relaxation.  It is a powerful practice for relaxation and healing.
